Heather Scott

Heather Scott is a fantasy and comic artist from Orlando, Florida. From an early age, she was fascinated with stories and the various means of storytelling. Her love of reading science-fiction/fantasy introduced her to the concept of story illustration and the visual works of John Howe, Michael Whelan, and Gerald Brom (among others), who inspired her to try drawing the scenes in her head. This, combined with an appreciation of cartoon masterpieces from Don Bluth Studios, Disney, and various Japanese studios inspired her to study animation and multimedia design at Valencia College.

Her interest in animation quickly turned into a passion for storyboards and comics, which allowed her to release a number of independent titles through her own label. In turn, these projects led her to receive numerous invitations to speak on art panels and participate in gallery exhibits throughout the eastern United States. She has provided artwork for numerous companies, publications, and game titles.

“Ever since I was little, I have wanted to tell stories through a visual medium. Whether it is through sequential art, illustration, or graphic design, this continues to be my passion today.”
